Description
TO VOLUNTEER: meet at Ash Avenue and Alameda Street, the site of the old Chihuahuitta Community Center, where trash bags, grabbers, and vests will be provided. Volunteers are encouraged to bring rakes or shovels to help with removing weeds and clearing debris. Dumpsters will be provided by the city's Solid Waste Department.
CHIHUAHUITA DISTRICT RESIDENTS: are encouraged to join the cleanup and meet your fellow community leaders and members, and Neighborhood Watch representative Sgt. Grace M. Fresquez. Community members are also asked to move vehicles that are parked on the street, if possible, so grappler trucks can move through the area with ease while picking up large trash items.
THIS EVENT IS HOSTED BY: Roswell Neighborhood Watch and its coordinator, RPD Sgt. Grace Fresquez, along with Keep Roswell Beautiful, City of Roswell Solid Waste Department, and Roswell Hispano Chamber of Commerce.
