Spencer Theater is calling for 50 to 60 young actors age 6-17 to participate in this summer's Missoula Children's Theatre musical, Jack and the Beanstalk!
AUDITIONS:
MONDAY, JUNE 24 AT 9 AM SHARP! (ARRIVE BY 8:30 AM)
What happens when a young boy plants Wonder Beans in his own backyard? For Jack, it is the beginning of a great adventure. With a little help from P.T. Wonder and a Giant, Jack learns a valuable lesson about true happiness. This musical production also features a host of other characters, including the Elegant Harp, Jill, Mother, Milky White, Farmers, Merchants, Circus Performers and the Wonder Beans.
Participation in both the audition & the acting workshop is open to visitors & residents alike.
No experience is necessary... wear comfortable clothes, sneakers, a big smile, and be committed to a week of rehearsals! On Monday, participants should arrive by 8:30 am (guardians must fill out a brief consent form). All children given parts will receive their daily rehearsal schedules following the auditions. Rehearsals are in the morning and early afternoon- approximately 2 hours each day, culminating in the Friday evening stage performance.
